Email message from Chris Burns and Barbara Shore:

Dear Fellow 50th Reunion Committee Members,

The final count has been tabulated. As reported by Don and Eva, a new all-time standard for 50th Reunion attendance has been set by the Class of '68. Kudos to all!

According to the HAA tally, as listed on the Class of '68 web page under the heading, "Who Came", 630 classmates or approximately 47% of the living members of our class along with 414 of their guests account for a truly grand total of 1,044 registrants for our 50th Reunion. The previous registration standard of 989 classmates and guests was set by the Class of '61. We shattered that record by 5.6%. In addition, we exceeded by 22.8% the Reunion Committee/HAA registration assumption of 850 registrants, which was used for calculating the cost of the reunion package. Hopefully, this positive result will accrue to the benefit of the Class of 68 "reunion fund balance".

Our fellow classmates, who did not serve on the Reunion Committee and experience the "making of the sausage", enthusiastically declared that the meal was delicious! We raise our glasses to all who had a hand in the planning and staging of the best 50th Reunion ever - WELL DONE!!

Best regards,

Barbara Shore and Chris Burns, Outreach '68 Co-captains

If you have questions please email the class inbox at 50thReunion_haa@harvard.edu or call the College reunions main line at 617-496-7001 .   Also if you’re talking to friends who aren’t receiving emails, a good initial step is to encourage them to either check their spam folders or if they use Gmail, to check their Social/Promotions tabs because HAA emails sometimes get filtered there.
